Bayern Munich sporting director Max Eberl thinks there may have been a case of celebrating too early from PSG last night.
Paris won the first leg at home 5-4, but at one point were 5-2 up and their players went wild.
Such a result would’ve given Bayern a near-insurmountable task in the second leg, and Eberl wasn’t too keen on what he saw.
“PSG high-fived each other after the 5-2 win as if they had already won and were going to Budapest,” he said.
“When you then come back against this crowd, that is special for me.”
Head coach Vincent Kompany struck a similar tone, commenting: “At 5-2 we saw the PSG players celebrating, that was difficult. But the team came back.
“The Allianz Arena is also a fortress. And then WE can hopefully celebrate.”

Eberl finished: “That’s what defines the character of this team. And we’ll need that in the second leg, without a doubt.
“We’re going home now, we’re one goal down, and we know what to do.”
