Matvey Safonov could be in hot water with UEFA due to the actions of his wife.
Safonov was one of PSG’s heroes as they overcame Arsenal on penalties in the Champions League final to win back-to-back titles.
However, his wife, Marina Kondratiuk, caused some uproar.
She created a Russia flag using red, white and blue binbags, despite the flag being banned at UEFA events.
She was filmed holding the object up, and later entered the pitch with it over her shoulders to greet her husband.

Russian flags are prohibited from UEFA events following the country’s invasion of Ukraine in 2022.
Russian teams are also banned from UEFA and FIFA events.
Furthermore, Russian athletes aren’t allowed to display their flags across sports.
Not only is the country’s deadly invasion of Ukraine a problem, but also the staggering state-sponsored doping campaign at the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics.
In the build-up to the final, Safonov was seen not shaking hands with Ukrainian teammate Illia Zabarnyi during a training match.
Safonov only speaks about football, and is accompanied by a press officer, avoided mixed zone events.
PSG insider Xavier Barret explained: “There hasn’t been much talk about it.
“There’s always a press officer in the mixed zone after matches to make sure journalists don’t ask inappropriate questions.”
