Sky Germany reporter Katharina Kleinfeldt has had better days.
The Bundesliga journalist was on duty for Eintracht Frankfurt’s opening day 4-1 win over Werder Bremen, and was unfortunately caught out by a shirt swap.
Marco Friedl of Bremen swapped shirts with former teammate Michael Zetterer post match, and attended his Sky duties in that Frankfurt top.
Kleinfeldt then began her questioning by asking “Congratulations on the victory. Are you satisfied with the team’s performance?”
Embarrassed, Friedl replied: “I’m a Werder Bremen player, in case you didn’t know.”
The defender also seemed rather irritated, something he confirmed later on while speaking to BILD.
“We had already spoken before the match and 90 minutes later, she doesn’t recognise me. It’s strange and a bit ridiculous,” he said.
