Adrien Rabiot’s mother is at it again.
Rabiot has moved from Juventus to Marseille as a free agent after a summer of speculation linking him with Champions League sides.
Not only is the transfer a step down on paper, but it’s also an embarrassing one given his previous comments as a PSG-raised star.
Rabiot‘s mother Veronique has previously been heavily criticised for her role in her son’s career, and this time it’s no different, with French agent Bruno Satin laying into her on RMC Sport.
“Rabiot ‘s situation is the result of the incompetence of the people who accompanied him here,” he said.
“He is advised by his mother and that shows that it is good to be accompanied by professionals because if he had been accompanied by a professional he would be in one of Europe’s top 10 clubs.
“I spoke to the sporting director of Atlético Madrid at the end of July and he told me: ‘I had two conversations with the mother and I stopped immediately because she was explaining to me where her son would play’.
“It quickly tires all the professionals, it is unbearable.”
