UPDATE: Lamine Yamal and Pedro Porro train separately
Lamine Yamal and Pedro Porro have trained away from the main group after their apparent injuries against France.
Barca’s Lamine was also seen with a bandage on his left thigh.
The pair still both participated in running drills and are seen as very likely to start against Argentina in the final.
An injury-hit Spain squad had cause for concern at the end of their 2-0 win over France.
Luis de la Fuente’s side booked their World Cup final spot against Argentina in sublime fashion.
Yet to seemingly dampen spirits slightly goalscorer Pedro Porro limped off in the final minutes, and then Lamine Yamal joined him with a similar limp at full-time.
Lamine and Porro injury updates
However, Cadena SER offered a positive update on Lamine, saying he left the SoFi Stadium in perfect condition later in the evening.
As for Porro, he will undergo tests, but is expected to be fine for the final, as De la Fuente confirmed in his post-match press conference.
There was also further good news with Victor Munoz joining the squad having not yet played at the tournament.
The new Liverpool signing arrived injured and suffered a training relapse.
In similar fashion to Athletic’s Nico Williams, he’s now back available, meaning Spain should have a fully-fit squad by Sunday.
De la Fuente has regularly come in for criticism for his squad selection, with Munoz, Williams and Lamine all arriving injured.
De la Fuente defends squad selection
In a recent update, he said: “Victor and Nico’s recent training sessions have been extraordinary, full of spark and explosiveness
“We’ll have to see when it might be important for them to play, but they’re in perfect condition.”
He added on the initial selection: “We planned it because we knew Nico wouldn’t be there, and there was some doubt about Victor.
“The team is in perfect shape and they’ve reached the point they need to reach.”
