FC Porto great Jackson Martinez is eyeing a return to football five years after retiring.
The 39-year-old Colombian called it quits in 2020 after leaving Portimonense.
However, Record now report that he’s being temped back to a return in Portuguese third tier.
Aveiro club Cesarense are coached by Paulo Assunção who, like Jackson, played for both Porto and Atletico Madrid.
The pair never played together competitively, but have teamed up for Porto’s legends team.
Record add that Jackson is likely to make a final call on his return next week.
Jackson scored a massive 92 goals in 136 games with Porto between 2012 and 2015 and looked like their latest scouting miracle.
However, he flopped after joining Atleti in a big money deal and his career quickly wound down with moves China and then back to Portugal.
