Neymar has got involved in an unlikely bust up with Robinho’s son in Santos training.
Leading Brazilian outlet Globo claim that Robinho Jr dribbled past Brazil’s all-time top scorer who responded with a slap and a trip.
Santos have since confirmed that an incident took place.
“Santos FC informs that, on the orders of the president, an internal investigation was opened immediately following the events to analyse the incident involving athletes Neymar Jr. and Robson de Souza Jr. (Robinho),” the club wrote.
A scuffle then broke out at the Rei Pelé Training Centre on Sunday morning.
Globo claimed: “The two began arguing after the veteran’s reprimand, during which there was some pushing and shoving.
“At least one person contacted by the reporter also claims to have seen the number 10 player slap the young player.

“Then, Neymar got angry and tripped Robinho, sending him flying off the ground.”
Neymar was reportedly also heard telling the 18-year-old talent to ‘take it easy’.
Globo contacted all three parties involved and Robinho Jr’s representitves refused to comment.
Neymar’s people said they: “had no knowledge of the matter.”
Despite the refusal to comment, Globo add that Robinho Jr’s people complained to the club, and Neymar later apologised.
They add:” Following the incident, Robinho Jr.’s representatives quickly sent Santos an extrajudicial notice demanding internal action within 48 hours, and, according to Globo Esporte , making three accusations against Neymar
“They also reportedly demanded a meeting with the club to discuss the termination of his contract due to a ‘lack of minimum safety conditions.’”
The 34-year-old played with Robinho Snr, who is currently in prison for sexual assault, and has taken on a ‘godfather’ role with his old teammate’s son.
