Kylian Mbappe has come out in defence of Real Madrid’s medical staff, just minutes after another horrendous accusation was dropped.
Having caused headlines with a trip to France for a long-term ailment, multiple reports claimed this week that Madrid’s staff examined his wrong knee.
Now away with France, he’s responded in defence of his club.
“The information that they examined the wrong knee is not true,” he said.
“I may be indirectly responsible. When you don’t communicate, everyone takes advantage of the situation, that’s the way it is.
“We have always had fairly clear communication with Real Madrid.”
Mbappe added about the ongoing issue that he felt: “A lot of frustration, anger, and worry at one point, because I didn’t know what I had.
“Many people have given a diagnosis, and until recently, I didn’t have one.
“I received it on a very specific date that I can’t give now.”
Yet despite Mbappe’s comments, just moments before he spoke at a France press conference L’Equipe dropped a story that Eduardo Camavinga also had the wrong ankle examined.
Damage limitation exercise failed.
