Endrick’s future is back in doubt after an intense day of Real Madrid transfer activity.
Los Blancos spent a club record €125million on Yan Diomande and then upped their wage bill considerably by signing Vinicius Jr on a new six-year deal.
As such, Real are clearly done in the market when it comes to summer signings up front, with an incredibly expensive armoury.
Goncalo Garcia has already left to Fulham in response, and now a number of teams are hoping for the same from Endrick.
Spainish trio chase Endrick’s signature
Mundo Deportivo report that Real Sociedad, Real Betis, Villarreal and Roma have all made inquiries.
Sociedad have made the most substantial approach, having previously tried to sign the player last summer.
Endrick suffered an injury which scuppered the move, and then he left in January on loan to Lyon.
Key for Endrick in that pick was European football, and all of the sides listed have it on offer for the young Brazilian.
In fact, Sociedad are the only team without Champions League football during the 2026/27 season.
Another year without football could beckon in Madrid
Endrick played barely any minutes for Madrid in the first half of last season.
He then went to Lyon and became a sensation, scoring eight times and recording seven assists in 21 appearances.
He regularly talked up wanting to stay in France, and France wanted him to stay as well.
L’Equipe reviewed one of his early displays with the words: “Endrick has already conquered Lyon.
“His performance down the right flank, his double accelerations, his on-the-fly ball control, and his wide range of dribbling skills provoked rare emotions.
“This bodes well for Lyon ‘s attacking prowess when Malick Fofana and Ernest Nuamah are back in action.”
He later had to bid an emotional farewell, writing: “It’s here that I found what I needed to regain my strength.
“To follow my instincts. To attack. Like a lion. To defend my family, who supported me, and those who welcomed me so warmly here.
“The months of anxiety have given way to months of joy, victories, but also learning.
“I’ve made new friends. I will carry this city within me for the rest of my life, in my heart and in my memory. Thank you for everything, Lyon!”
