Carlo Ancelotti isn’t just the face of Brazil’s World Cup squad, but also their poster boy for the tournament.
The legendary Italian is so far the main fixture for international football’s most successful country, that is unless Neymar suddenly gets going.
There’s hope that football’s most successful coach and country uniting could lead to triumph, but it has unarguably led to victory for their bank accounts.
O Globo report that Don Carlo has become the main attraction for Brazilian advertisers and is raking in around R$ 10million (£1.5m) for commercials as short at 12 seconds.
One sees him on the beach where he controls a rolled up ball of newspaper on his foot, opens it and reads the headline: “Brazil believes in the sixth title.”

The outlet adds that such roles would’ve previously gone to international legends like Romário and Ronaldo, but now Ancelotti is putting them out of work.
He’s taken the biggest slots with Brahma, Volkswagen and Amazon.
Bernardo Pontes, former marketing director at Flamengo, Vasco, and Fluminense, commented: “It’s clear that the costs involved in working with someone of Ancelotti’s stature are unusual.

“You end up having to be at the very top of the pyramid just to have the investment capacity to work with a name like that.”
Ancelotti’s adverts now have over 100million views on YouTube, and Guilherme Almeida, marketing director of Brahma, explained why.
“He doesn’t try to be a great actor,” he said.
“I think his sincerity is important, the way he delivers his lines, even down to his eyebrows. That’s just him.”
