Real Madrid legend Raúl is under consideration to become Union Berlin’s next manager.
That’s according to a report from BILD, who list Ajax flop Alfred Schreuder and Bundesliga regular Oliver Glasner as the other candidates.
Union parted ways with Urs Fischer after five years with the Berliners, coming after a terrible run of form saw 11 straight defeats.
Raúl is currently the manager of Real Madrid’s youth team, and has impressed so much he’s been linked with replacing Carlo Ancelotti at the senior side next season.
The legendary striker has already been linked with former side Schalke, where he shone as a player.
And the attraction for Union may be obvious, with fellow former Spanish Bundesliga star Xabi Alonso making waves in the dugout at Bayer Leverkusen.
