Edin Terzic is being lined up as AC Milan’s next head coach, Sky Germany reports.
The former Borussia Dortmund coach, who left the side after the club’s Champions League final loss to Real Madrid, has been contacted by Milan advisor Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
The deal hinges on what happens with current coach Paulo Fonseca, who arrived in the summer and has gotten off to a poor start at San Siro with just one win in four games.
Their latest defeat, a 3-1 home loss to Liverpool in the Champions League, was viewed by Terzic who watched from the stands.
Sky add that plenty hinges on this weekend’s Milan derby, with defeat to rivals Inter potentially ending Fonseca’s coaching career at the six-game mark.
