Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could be out at Besiktas after just 24 games.
Reports in Turkey and from transfer insider Fabrizio Romano claim the former Manchester United manager is on very thin ice after already exiting the Europa League.
Solskjaer had a decent start in the Super Lig with wins against the other Istanbul giants, but the 2025/26 campaign has begun with a 6-2 aggregate knockout against Shakhtar Donetsk.
If that wasn’t bad enough, the final of the tournament is being held at the Besiktas Stadium.
Both Romano and Fanatik also claim that Nuri Sahin is top of the list to replace Solskjaer, which may come as a shock to Bundesliga fans.
The former midfield maestro headed back to his parent’s Turkey in 2021 with Antalyaspor where he became head coach and put together an impressive run.
That was enough for former side Borussia Dortmund to bring him back for the end of the 2023/24 season, where he was credited with guiding them to the Champions League final as an assistant manager.
However, getting the job full time from Edin Terzic the following campaign, he was soon shown up and was replaced with the team unable to get out of mid table.

Sahin was voted coaching flop of the season with a massive 34.7% of the vote.
