Borussia Dortmund’s supporters have had enough, and so has Nuri Sahin.
The Bundesliga giants made it four games without a win last time out by drawing to Hoffenheim, and it’s now emerged that Sahin went to town afterwards.
BVB‘s home form had been stellar, with their away results disastrous, but in recent weeks things have dropped off on both counts.
Now eighth place in the Bundesliga, 11 points from leaders Bayern Munich, Sahin finally brought up his players’ mentality, according to Sky Germany.
Sahin and club bosses have long dismissed questions over mentality, but it’s claimed the coach questioned his players’ honour after their latest blunder.
In an impromptu dressing down, he went after team leaders one by one, asking if they were winners, to which Emre Can replied: “Obviously not if we’re eighth…”
Oh dear.
