Bradley Barcola is heading towards the exit door at PSG after talks resumed with Liverpool.
The Reds earlier had a €115million offer rejected with Paris holding out for their €170m asking price.
However, their chances of holding onto Barcola are complicated with the forward informing the club he won’t renew his contract when it expires in 2027.
He’s also spoken with Liverpool coach Andoni Iraola and verbally agreed a switch over other leading European clubs.
Barcola ‘expected’ to be sold to Liverpool
L’Equipe now report that Barcola is expected to be sold, following up earlier sentiments from RMC Sport.
The deal will be a Ligue 1 record sale to a foreign club, with the previous record the €90million that PSG sold Neymar to Al Hilal for.
PSG have left Barcola out of their last three squads including their Ligue 1 opener against Rennes.
The same situation occurred for Ibrahim Mbaye who has also agreed terms with Liverpool.
PSG have also secured replacements in Ferran Torres and Mika Godts.
Speaking after the draw against Rennes, PSG sporting director Luis Campos said: “The transfer window isn’t over.
“I understand the question, but you have to understand my position. It’s important to defend PSG and the institution.
“You mentioned (Bradley) Barcola and (Ibrahim) Mbaye; we’ll see what happens.
“It’s like this every year. I remind you what happened last year with Gigio Donnarumma (who left for Manchester City on September 2nd); it was really late.
“This transfer window isn’t over at all; it’s open. Even on the arrivals side, if we find a good opportunity, we’ll take it.”
