Marseille president Pablo Longoria has come back swinging after his 15-match ban.
The Spaniard was suspended by Ligue 1‘s disciplinary committee after shouting ‘corrupt league’ down a camera earlier this season.
OM showed signs of improvement to start the campaign under Roberto De Zerbi, but it all went awry with PSG winning the title at a canter yet again.
Longoria hasn’t given up though, and has blamed the club’s Commanderie training centre for many of their problems.
Speaking at a press conference, he said: “First, the Commanderie’s offices date back to 2007. The world of work has changed radically in 18 years.
“The current Commanderie isn’t adaptable in the way it should operate.
“Second, when I hold important meetings, I hold them outside. When you enter our sports centre, you’re taking a trip down memory lane. We’re not proud to welcome people here.
“There’s a way of wanting to meddle in other people’s business that I haven’t seen anywhere else in the world. It’s a disease, and I’m going to eradicate it.
“Every employee could see the training sessions, who was going to play on the weekend. This isn’t normal. There are internal tensions that aren’t working in the right direction for sporting interests.
“We’re limited by space at the Commanderie. We only have three fields, one of which isn’t the official size. We want to build a top-level sports centre.
“We need to find a larger field with more space, especially for the training centre and the women’s team.”
