Jude Bellingham was the final player to return to Real Madrid training after the World Cup.
A semi-finalist with England, and the Three Lions’ best player, Bellingham even arrived later than winner Marc Cucurella.
Now back from holiday, he’s discussed what training is like under new coach Jose Mourinho.
Bellingham discusses playing under Mourinho
“Running a lot, in a lot of heat…” he told the club’s channel.
“It’s difficult, but you also have to know how to enjoy this suffering.
“I’m very happy to be back with my teammates and the new manager, very pleased.
“The World Cup was a great experience, but I’m ready to come back and compete, hopefully to win.”
Bellingham went viral when he met Mourinho after the 2024 Champions League final win.

Bringing his mum onto the pitch, he told reporters: “Sorry about that, my mum’s fancied him for years!”
Recalling that meeting, he said: “I already have a great relationship with him, despite having only met once.
“It’s a dream for me to work with a coach like Mourinho, I’m really looking forward to seeing what he’s like.”
Finally, Bellingham spoke about what he expects from himself during the 2026/27 season.
He said: “I think this year I’m more mature, I have more experience, and I have a good feeling about this season, with the new signings and the new coaching staff.
“We’ll see… playing for Real Madrid is a dream and an honour, something I hope to continue doing for many more years.”
