Jude Bellingham has finally undergone shoulder surgery today, July 16, and is expected to be out for a massive chunk of the new season.
OndaCero report that the Real Madrid megastar could be out for as much as four months, with a three-four month prognosis up from the initial two-three months.
Bellingham went under the knife in his native England, in London, with Madrid club doctor Dr. Felipe Segura.
The news is a blow for Madrid, but necessary for Bellingham who has been going through differing bouts of pain since the initial 2023 injury.
There is some good news, though, with Cadena SER adding that Arda Guler is more than ready to slot into midfield in his place alongside Aurelien Tchouaméni and Fede Valverde.
The Turk had a superb Club World Cup campaign under Xabi Alonso and is looking ready to step up before Bellingham’s November return.
