Real Madrid are attempting to highlight Alvaro Arbeloa’s work with Vinicius Jr and Jude Bellingham.
Cadena SER report that club sources say “The media places too much emphasis on the relationship between Arbeloa and Vinicius, but that, statistically speaking, the Brazilian was already performing well during Xabi Alonso’s final spell at the club.”
However, when it comes to Bellingham, Arbeloa is working hard to try and bring back the player who set the world alight during his first season under Carlo Ancelotti.
They claim that: “The Englishman is happier. Bellingham is seeing more of the ball, playing closer to the opposition’s penalty area, covering fewer kilometres, and running more effectively than he did under Xabi Alonso.”
However, Arbeloa’s biggest challenge is clear: “To make Bellingham compatible with Arda Güler, something that has not been possible so far this season.”
