Luis Enrique and Xavi made headlines before they faced off in last season’s Champions League, and it turns out it was for good reason.
PSG head coach Luis Enrique met his former team and star player in the competition’s quarter-finals and came through with a victory which many considered undeserved.
That went down particularly badly in Spain, given the reported heat between the two coaches before the tie, something they both denied.
Footage of them embracing in the tunnel seemed to quash any rumoured beef, but that prognosis has been turned on its head with the release of a new documentary on Luis Enrique.
With clips surfacing ahead of the launch of ‘You Have No Fucking Idea‘ the latest one shows the PSG boss laying into his former player.
“Barça is not a dominant team nor a good defensive team,” he said. “They have no defensive quality.
“When they play with the ball Ter Stegen breaks the record for long passes. They play like Eibar.”
