Luis Enrique won’t be losing any sleep over Kylian Mbappe’s departure.
The Spaniard undertook his first press conference since news of his main man’s exit.
It was confirmed to The Athletic and RMC Sport by PSG that Mbappe will be leaving for free this summer.
Responding to the news, Luis Enrique said: “To settle this information. Until the parties involved speak out, I do not intend to comment on anything.
“And the parties involved do not have spoken out. Neither has it come out publicly from Mbappé nor from anyone at the club.
“When the parties speak, I will give you an opinion.
“The team is above all the players. The club is above everything and all individuals.
“When parties involved speak out, I, as a coach, will give my opinion.”
Luis Enrique then went on to congratulate the first journalist in the room who asked him a question that wasn’t related to Mbappe.
