Harry Kane may soon win the Ballon d’Or, but that isn’t enough to make him Bayern Munich’s best-paid player.
The England captain can’t stop scoring for his current side and has broken numerous records since joining in 2023.
However, we’ve gone through numerous regional and national sources to find out the Bundesliga’s highest paid players, and Kane isn’t top.
The 33-year-old has confirmed talks over a new contract which will likely lift him over the man in No.1 spot – Jamal Musiala.
Musiala’s last contract renewal saw him given a record-breaking fee for Germany to ward off Chelsea and Manchester City.
Kane and Olise expected to battle for highest-paid top spot
Yet when Kane likely leapfrogs him, he’s also expected to have more competition in the shape of Michael Olise.
The Frenchman spent the summer being linked with €200million moves to Real Madrid and PSG, but ended up staying.
However, L’Equipe report that Bayern are keen to agree new terms to ward off the risk again, and will make him their’s and the league’s highest-paid player.
All of that shows Bayern’s financial flex over their Bundesliga rivals with the top 10 earners in the league all playing in Munich.
Next up is Borussia Dortmund’s Serhou Guirassy, which tallies with Barcelona being put off of a deal during the summer.
