Luis Enrique has confirmed he will go ahead with his new ‘systematic rotation’ at PSG.
The three-time Champions League winner is known for his innovative tactics, including spending the second half of Ligue 1 matches in the stands to get a bird’s eye view of the pitch.
His latest unique change involves player welfare and it’s already been in place this season.
Ballon d’Or winner Ousmane Dembele was left out for three matches, and now Lucas Digne has also been left out of consecutive squads.
Digne’s apparent snub provoked all sorts of media drama with the left back playing poorly since arriving and the transfer window still being open.

However, Luis Enrique has now clarified matters, explaining: “It will be a different trend this season.
“There are three players in each match who won’t be on the list. We have to get used to seeing important players not being included.
“There are no major issues. I’m very happy, I know him very well. It will be like this throughout the season with different players.”
Despite a positive transfer window, PSG have had their worst start to a season in 19 years.
Paris are yet to win a domestic match, drawing two and losing one Ligue 1 match, while they also lost the French Super Cup to Lens.
Yet Luis Enrique is more than happy.

Speaking after defeat to Monaco last time out, he said: “I’m happy with what I saw. It’s the start of the season. We’re not at our best yet.
“But I saw a lot of positive things. For me, it’s clear we deserved the win. The odds were in our favour.
“But that’s football, it’s a wonderful sport. How can I explain it? Football is sometimes inexplicable.
“I would like to emphasize the players’ mentality. It will be an exciting championship. We have to prepare for the future.”
