Leroy Sane is going viral for all the wrong reasons.
The Bayern Munich winger isn’t having a great time at the moment and showed his frustration in disappointing fashion.
Sane started a shock 3-2 home Bundesliga defeat to Bochum, but only lasted 63 minutes without making an impact.
Trundling off for the men coming on, he walked to their right where the fourth official was with his arm outstretched to signal to the subs that they weren’t allowed to join the game yet.
Seeing his path blocked, Sane shoved the official’s arm out of the way, and the clip quickly went viral.
Responding to the incident, Bayern legend Stefan Effenberg said: “It’s disrespectful. He could have gone the other way
“It symbolises Sané’s current mood. Maybe not just in the game, maybe with his whole situation.
“You can often tell from the body language of players whether they are feeling comfortable. And you can see that with Sané too. That doesn’t really have anything to do with the game, but with his overall situation.”
The situation Effenberg was referring to was that Sane’s contract is expiring this summer, and it looks like Bayern won’t be offering him a new one.
