LaLiga president Javier Tebas has commented on the story of a disgusting attack on two disabled Villarreal supporters.
On Saturday night it was reported that two disabled fans of the Spanish side were taken to Hospital de la Plana after the derby draw with Valencia.
According to reports, a group of hooded men dressed in black beat them up and then fled when other fans approached to stop them.
Police and medical services arrived, with one supporter suffering from a blow to the jaw causing him to bleed profusely, while the other suffered from an anxiety attack.
Both supporters were taken to hospital, and now Tebas has given an update saying the league will be ‘very forceful’ adding: “I hope for the worst for them.”
He continued: “Until the perpetrators of this attack are convicted, LaLiga will be all over this situation.”
Local media add that around 600 Valencia fans travelled for the clash at La Ceràmica, although there is no suggestion that this was motivated by the rivalry.
