LaLiga president Javier Tebas has addressed a story that his organisation sent doping control to Real Madrid’s training ground.
Madrid were forced to delay their Monday morning session by over an hour when the Spanish Anti-Doping Commission in Sport (CELAD) arrived at Valdebebas.
Some stories emerged blaming the league, but Tebas has now put those to bed.
“We have no jurisdiction and never have,” he said at an event in Madrid.
“They explain that LaLiga is to blame for everything and it’s impossible that we sent them.”
The training session was Madrid’s final before their 2025/26 Champions League debut at home to Marseille this evening.
Jude Bellingham has been included in the matchday squad ahead of schedule as he was expected to be out longer with an injury.
