Despite being sacked by Fenerbahce seven weeks ago, the after effects of Jose Mourinho are still being felt.
That’s according to new club president Sadettin Saran, who thinks new coach Domenico Tedesco is struggling to pick up the pieces from a poor pre-season.
According to A Bola, he said: “We can still see the effects of the poor pre-season in Portugal during Jose Mourinho‘s time.
“This process has negatively affected the team’s physical and mental preparation.
“Only one training session per week in Portugal. This is not possible!”
Tedesco has coached seven games since replacing Benfica’s Mourinho, and has a record of three wins, three draws and a defeat, with Fener fourth in the Turkish Super Lig and six points off leaders Galatasaray.
