Jordan Henderson is set to get his wish, leaving Al Ettifaq after just half a season.
Multiple reports have claimed that the former Liverpool midfielder is desperate to end his time in the Saudi Pro League, with his team unwilling to sell the player.
However, Gazzetta Italia and Corriere dello Sport both claim that negotiations are well underway between Henderson and Juventus.
Furthermore, Gazzetta report that the deal will be a ‘bargain’ for Juve, with Henderson joining on loan for a year, with the option of a second.
Max Allegri is said to be delighted by the prospect of signing Henderson, with the manager wanting more steel in midfield, without it upsetting the balance of the team.
He’s also been searching for a player with experience at a top team who can help younger players, something which 34-year-old Henderson is famous for.
