Hansi Flick might start having issues in the Barcelona dressing room after his latest comments.
It was previously reported that Barca’s squad weren’t happy with Lamine Yamal’s preferential treatment, avoiding fines and punishments for turning up late to training.
Now, following his third touchline sulk of the season, Flick has made it clear the teen is immune from punishement.
Lamine was angry at the end of a 2-1 win over Atletico Madrid, not celebrating Robert Lewandowski’s late equaliser before slumping past Flick.
It was reported that he was angry with the goalkeeping coach berating him on the touchline, and Flick has no problems with the public display of annoyance.
“He tried everything down the wing,” Flick reflected.
“What we have to understand is that Lamine is 18 years old, and when you watch the game again, you see that he does incredible things.
“He beat five players and almost scored. He left frustrated. He’s emotional, and that’s a good thing.
“Not everything he does is to make a scene. I told him he can do it, that I’ll always protect him.”
