Already too active on social media, Gianluca Prestianni has caused more problems for Benfica on Instagram.
The Argentine was suspended for Benfica’s 2-1 (3-1 on aggregate) Champions League defeat to Real Madrid and hit out at UEFA in a since-deleted Twitter/X post.
His suspension came after Vinicius Jr and Kylian Mbappe alleged racist abuse in the first leg, something the Portuguese side have denied and defended.
All of them except for Sidny Lopes Cabral.
The Cape Verde defender was seen asking for Vinicius’ shirt during the match, and Benfica fans picked up on the moment and bombarded him with criticism.
Joining in on the hate was unsurprisingly Prestianni himself, who liked a post hammering Cabral on Instagram.

The post read: “Sidny asked Vinicius for his shirt at the end of the match… We’ve spent a week criticising each other for the crying, lying baby, and as soon as the game ends, the first thing he does is ask for his shirt.”
