A remarkable story is developing in the Turkish press with claims that Fenerbahce’s Kerem Akturkoglu is facing a legal challenge from Hollywood giants Warner Bros.
CCN Türkiye claim that Warner Bros. has filed an application with the Istanbul Intellectual and Industrial Property Rights Civil Court.
They alle that the former Benfica winger used visual and audio elements from the Harry Potter universe without permission in his social media posts.
The company requested online evidence collection and also added the footballer’s Instagram and X-LinkedIn posts to the case.
Akturkoglu, who joined in the summer for £20million, also regularly celebrates goals by waving an imaginary wand.
