Fenerbahce have gone full Jose Mourinho after the latest Galatasaray debacle.
Turkish Super Lig leaders Gala made headlines on Sunday evening when Dries Mertens hooked his leg out to win a penalty which wasn’t overturned by VAR.
Opponents Adana Demirspor marched off the pitch in protest, causing the footballing world to look over to Turkey.
Jose Mourinho poked fun at the incident on Instagram, but now his side and title challengers Fenerbahce have taken things to another level.
In a statement, they wrote: “With your irregular contracts, your black market tickets and your illegal betting advertisements, you are harming our country and the Turkish Football Federation.
“Your guided media and your insincere statements are misleading the public. You continue to mislead referees and football fans with your footballers who have been making deceptive gestures for years.
“Thanks to you, there is no more trust and justice. But the most innocent and the most victimized is always you. Congratulations, what have you done to Turkish football?”
