There were concerns Eintracht Frankfurt’s talent pool may have been trying up with the departures of Hugo Ekitike and Omar Marmoush, but Can Uzun has proved they’ve still got it.
The German-born Turkey international was signed last summer from Nurnberg, but was largely a back-up option in a decent first campaign.
However, thanks to Frankfurt‘s summer turnover, he’s now a regular starter and absolutely thriving.
Uzun has scored in his first four Bundesliga games of the season – a feat never done before by a teenager.
The 19-year-old also netted in the Champions League against Galatasaray, and English sides are likely already saving up for a move.
