The always outspoken Uli Hoeness has let rip over the ongoing Dayot Upamecano saga at Bayern Munich.
Upamecano becomes a free agent in the summer and is being chased by Real Madrid and PSG after hitting the best form of his career under Vincent Kompany.
Bayern executives have spoken out on the situation with sporting director Christoph Freund praising the player but CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen telling him the offer won’t get better.
Honorary president Hoeness has taken the latter approach, but attacked Upamecano’s representatives rather than the player himself.
“I would be extremely happy if Dayot Upamecano decided to stay at Bayern,” he told Kicker. “I know he and his family are very happy in Munich.
“However, I fear his agents will do everything they can to convince him to leave. I am appalled by this behaviour.”
