Carlo Ancelotti to Brazil was starting to look like a certainty, but as the days pass it becomes anything but.
Spanish and Brazilian news outlets claimed an agreement had been agreed between the CBF and the Real Madrid manager, but it’s now said an almighty disagreement has taken place.
Madrid want Ancelotti to stay through the Club World Cup, while Brazil want him signed in June so he can finish off their 2026 World Cup qualifying campaign.
And now another spanner has been thrown in the works with Saudi daily Al-Riyadh claiming Jorge Jesus has parted ways with Al Hilal.
Jesus seemed ready to do whatever he could to take over Brazil, having worked in the country and he is a native Portuguese speaker.
He’s also won pretty much everywhere he’s been in his career, and could well be a more guaranteed, but not as glamours name, as Ancelotti.
