Bodo/Glimt have come back down to earth with a thud after their Europa League heroics.
The Norwegian Eliteserien side became the first to reach the semi-finals of a major European competition, but were convincingly beat 5-1 over two legs by Tottenham.
Returning to domestic action, things have now got even more embarrassing as they were knocked out of the Norwegian NM Cupen by second tier Aalesund.
Defending Eliteserien champions, Bodo/Glimt are just four games into the league campaign as the competition only restarted in March due to the Scandinavian winter.
They’re seventh in the league, but have two games in hand, and will have to use them wisely so that their fairy-tale doesn’t come to a sudden end.
