Inter Milan’s players returned to Italy after their 5-0 Champions League humiliation to PSG and weren’t expecting much on their arrival.

They didn’t get much either, although they did get something, just one fan named Marco.

The team arrived at Malpensa airport from Munich on Sunday and where their team bus was waiting was just a single supporter.

La Gazzetta managed to get a quick word with him, and he told them: “I’m the only idiot… but these guys still deserve applause.”

Inter’s 5-0 defeat was sadly the heaviest ever in a Champions League final, but the Serie A side still upset the odds, overcoming Barcelona in one of the greatest semi-finals ever seen.
