Movistar’s ‘El Día Después’ has delivered the goods once again, and this time Real Madrid’s Vinicius Jr is their victim.
‘The Day After’ shows clips from matches where professional lip readers subtitle a player’s speech, and Vini was tracked during a 5-1 win over Real Betis.
Academy graduate Gonzalo Garcia was the hero of the piece with a hat-rick subbing in for Kylian Mbappe, but Vinicius wasn’t pleased with him, nor the Real fans that booed him.
He’s subtitled as telling manager Xabi Alonso: “This is impossible.
“They have to pass the ball, everyone wants to dribble and then they boo me.
“Tell Gonzalo he has to pass at least once, not every time, just one!”
Alonso is then captured during a substitution break telling the Brazilian: “Hey, damn it, Vini!”
Come on, man, go! Damn it, press! Don’t stop and keep pressing!”
