Having talked up Juventus repeatedly pre-match, Galatasaray’s Victor Osimhen continued the job not only after the game, but even during it.
The Nigerian burned bridges at former side Napoli by explaining how great Juve are and that 90% of players would want to join, presumably including himself.
Gala knocked the Serie A side out of the Champions League on Wednesday night with Osimhen scoring the go-ahead goal in extra time to secure a 7-5 aggregate win.
However, he didn’t celebrate, later explaining: “There was no need.
“I think it’s important to respect a man I loved and who played an important role in my career, I’m obviously talking about Luciano Spalletti.”

Osimhen would go onto explain how Juve deserved to win and credited the club, before literally bowing down to another of their key figures.
Upon meeting club great Alessandro Del Piero post-match, Osimhen bowed to show his appreciation and then posed for a picture, writing on social media: “Feel blessed to see one of the greatest of all time!”
Yet all of this wasn’t in vein, well not quite.
Multiple reports claim that the feeling is mutual, and Juve would like Osimhen to replace departing striker Dusan Vlahovic.
However, Gazzetta dello Sport have now explained why a move from Gala is so unlikely.
They claim that Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis inserted a clause in his deal that penalises Gala heavily if they were to sell to another Italian club.
Gala would have to pay a penalty of €70million in the first year and €50m in the second, making Osimhen’s chances of becoming the next Gonzalo Higuain almost obsolete, no matter how much flirting he tries.
