Thomas Tuchel eviscerated his Bayern Munich players after their 3-0 defeat to Bayer Leverkusen, it has been revealed.
Bayern lost 3-0 to Leverkusen in their top-of-the-table clash, falling five points off the Bundesliga lead.
The result continued a terrible run since Tuchel took over at the start of 2023, and it now looks very likely he’ll be gone next season.
After the loss at the BayArena, Tuchel told his players: “You’re not as good as I thought, so I will just have to adapt to your level.”
That comes from a source inside the dressing room, according to Sky Germany.
Bayern followed up that disastrous performance by losing the first leg of their Champions League last 16 tie against Lazio 1-0.
