Sporting CP are attempting to break new ground with kit manufacturer Nike by selling a whopping nine different kits next season.
Club vice president André Bernardo announced the initiative with champions Sporting trying to capitalise on a record year of merchandise revenue that reached over €15million.
This season’s Francisco Stromp tribute home kit will return which features a black stripe along with the usual green and white.
A white shirt from a Cup Winners Cup will continue and also a ‘Verve’ third shirt.
Soon, a fourth strip which features lion print will be released, paying homage to the club’s logo.
And for 2024/25, more is in the pipeline, with a special number 7 tribute in a throwback to club icons Cristiano Ronaldo and Luis Figo.
