Roberto De Zerbi came to Marseille because he wanted to stop the teams ‘with power’ but was in a boisterous mood after helping one of them.
The Italian received plenty of criticism from OM‘s 3-0 home Champions League defeat to Liverpool, with even countryman Fabio Capello attacking him.
However, next time out in the league Marseille took down league leaders RC Lens 3-1.
Such a result has finally put PSG back at the top of Ligue 1, and De Zerbi was keen to defend himself post-match.
“The press needs to get its act together,” he said.
“Sometimes you say we play badly, sometimes you say we play well.
“Maybe I should get a French passport so you can say something else.”
