Peter Bosz showcased his elite mentality by having the audacity to complain about a 6-0 PSV win.
Bosz instructed the Eindhoven side to a demolition of Vitesse which leaves them on the brink of first title since 2018.
PSV are now 12 points clear of Feyenoord with four games to go, and will likely be officially crowned champions next weekend.
Yet despite the shellacking that leaves PSV five goals off the 100 goal mark Bosz wasn’t happy.
“I didn’t think we were good in the first 20, 25 minutes. Until the goal,” he said.
“It was far too slow, there was a lot of unnecessary losses of possession, little movement without the ball. Vitesse did well. They put us under pressure and had the first big chance.
“They had a good advantage, but their crossing was just not right. And then we score. After that it was a run of the mill. We made the second and third very quickly.”
Quickly moving back to the negatives, he added: “I already came back to it during half time, because I didn’t think it was good. Stijn (Schaars, assistant), who was sitting next to me, said: ‘Just take it easy, man. It’s hot, you can’t say they’re not trying their best.’
“But it wasn’t a good place to be and I’m always used to saying what I think about it. And I do that too when we are 3-0 ahead. Because we can do better.
“I don’t just look at the score. If we’re playing great and we’re 1-0 down, I wouldn’t get angry at half-time. The build-up was too slow and I tried to help the boys how I could do it better.
“What I did like was that we did not settle for a 3-0 lead and that we started looking for the fourth, fifth and sixth.”
