Peter Bosz has again called out his side while being at the top.
The winner of the past two Eredivisies with PSV could have sealed a third this weekend if things had gone their way, but quite the opposite happened.
Feyenoord drew 1-1 with Ajax when they would’ve had to lose for PSV to clinch, and then things got worse.
Bosz’s side lost to promoted outfit Telstar for the second time this season, and Bosz was livid.
“We have shown this season what PSV can be: a team that creates many chances, that imposes its will on opponents, and that can play possession well and for long periods,” he began before turning heel.
“But: there was no sign of it today, and if you’re honest, it has been much less for almost two months now.
“The pattern is clear, and I’m sick to death of it.”
He then explained how things would turnaround, before making a self-deprecating joke.
He continued: “Fortunately, things have been better again lately, because it was a sluggish mess there [in training] too.
“Last season the turnaround came when we started training better, so perhaps the shift is coming now as well.
“But not today yet. And let it be clear: it is my responsibility as a coach. Currently, it is not good enough.
“So: the coach is out. Immediate dismissal.”
Steady on, Peter. A win after the international break and dropped points for Feyenoord and it’s all over.
