I don’t think you have the facilities for that, Pablo Maffeo.
The Mallorca defender, whose biggest claim to fame so far in his career has been winding up Vinicius Jr, was back at it before his side faced Real Madrid in the Spanish Super Copa semi-finals.
Having previously called ‘Vini’ a crybaby twice to his face, boxing fan Maffeo said it would only take him 10 seconds to knock out his rival in the ring.
The comments understandably went viral before their Saudi showdown, but it only took minutes in the 3-0 Madrid win before Maffeo was the one on the ground.
In a tangle with Vinicius, he went to the floor and rolled around in agony, sparking tensions.
That continued after Jude Bellingham’s 63rd-minute opener when Vinicius was picked up allegedly telling Maffeo: “You’re terrible. You’re going home.”
Two more goals went in and then Maffeo’s head was fully gone, taking on any player in white that he could, including young academy graduate Raúl Asencio who told him they’d meet after the game and blew a kiss in his direction.
If that wasn’t enough, Bellingham made sure to give the Argentine a little pat on the head in the closing stages, making sure he was fully back in his box.
