Jonathan David has gone yet another Serie A game without scoring for Juventus, this time in a 1-1 draw with Lecce.
The Canadian scored on his league debut against Parma back on August 24th, but hasn’t managed another effort since.
Despite three goals elsewhere in the Champions League and Coppa Italia, David’s scoreless streak in Serie A is now over 11 hours, despite being a substitute in 10 of his 17 appearances.
To make matters worse, the former Lille man was even given a penalty against Lecce to break his duck, but put a botched Panenka down the middle of the goal for an easy save.
That kept the score at 1-1, and ended a three-game winning streak just as Juve were looking back on form for a top four return.
