Days after the three-year anniversary of Diego Maradona’s death, incredible never-before-seen footage has been released.
The clip from the 1986 World Cup final shows an incredibly relaxed footballing legend messing around in the dying moments against West Germany.
His mannerisms are even more surprising considering the score was just 3-2, and anything could have happened.
Twitter user @jonidg posted the footage and wrote: “Today, three years after the departure of #Maradona, I share exclusive images recorded by my own father, Alfonso Domínguez, from the Azteca Stadium on June 29, 1986.
“An indelible memory of the World Cup final between Germany and Argentina.”
