Formerly the worst FIFA president of all time, Sepp Blatter has came out against the man desperate to rob him of that honour, Gianni Infantino.
Blatter was banned from working in football in 2015 shortly after resigning over a corruption scandal.
Fellow Swiss Infantino took over the following year and has been heavily criticised for the Qatar World Cup, the upcoming Saudi World Cup and the current expanded Club World Cup.
Taking on the latter two issues, Blatter said: “We lost football to Saudi Arabia. We offered it, and they took it.
“And amazingly, there is no opposition to it within FIFA.”
He added: “There’s too much football. It’s always the same clubs and the same players.
“They need to rest. The fact that the professionals in the US sometimes had to play in extremely hot temperatures was unhealthy and cheeky.”
