Brazil seem to finally be growing in confidence after years of struggles at the World Cup.
The record champions have become one of the biggest fallen giants in international football, but there’s hope things could finally change with the legendary Carlo Ancelotti at the helm.
Yet despite all the positivity, one viral moment has provoked some extra motivation.
France’s Michael Olise was asked to name the best player from six of the favourites, and when it got to Brazil, he responded: “I don’t know.”

Since that moment Brazil team interviews have had an extra spice to them, and it’s clear the team aren’t happy with somewhat of an underdog status.
Midfielder Bruno Guimaraes was asked for his thoughts, and simply responded: “Nobody else has five stars on their chest.
“Argentina wasn’t favoured in the last World Cup and they won.”
Ancelotti, meanwhile, commented: “We have great players shining in the best teams in the world, like Vini and Raphinha. We must show due respect to our players.”
More analytically, Brazil’s most experienced player, Danilo, also put up a defence.
“I’ve been a fierce critic of the changes and the mismanagement of the CBF [football federation],” he commented.
“But this year I have to acknowledge the restructuring that’s taking place; it brings peace of mind to everyone…
“And now it’s impossible not to talk about the dream and the resilience of the Brazilian people.”
Ancelotti’s Real Madrid were famous for using other peoples’ words as motivation, and with the mood and performances improving, we will certainly be looking back at Olise should Brazil face France in the tournament.
