Barcelona kept their LaLiga title charge going with a 1-0 win over Leganes, but one injury has caused concern.
Alejandro Balde was taken out of the game with a hamstring injury and is expected to miss three weeks.
His replacement, Gerard Martín, didn’t exactly shine, and such situations aren’t isolated in Catalunya.
Explaining the issue in detail, Cadena SER’s Jesús Gallego said: “Barça’s substitutes have dropped significantly. You only had to look at Eric García yesterday trying to play like Frenkie De Jong. The first half was a complete disaster.
“Araujo tried to play like Cubarsí and ended up being a complete disaster clearing the ball. Fermín isn’t at the level of Dani Olmo.
“If you put these pieces together in the starting eleven at the same time, the team plays less football and has less control of the match, which is what Barça had a lot of.
“I don’t want to scare anyone, but it’s a reality.”
